In a city-state, there lived three king brothers. They married a princess together and managed the country in an orderly manner. Unfortunately, the concubine died young.

Not far from here, there was a Rakshasa ghost. Seeing the three brothers’ city-state prospering day by day, he was so envious that his eyes almost popped out of his head. He has always wanted to get rid of the three king brothers and rule the city-state by himself.

After the death of the princess, the Rakshasa ghost turned into a beautiful woman and asked a little Rakshasa to transform into a yak, carrying a lot of goods and selling them under the castle of the king’s three brothers.

At this time, the entire city-state was in shock. The servants greeted each other: “Come and see! Come and see! The beauty is selling pearl treasures!”

The great king stuck his head out of the window, and his soul was immediately seduced by the beauty. He called the girl to the castle and made her his concubine. Unexpectedly, after getting married, his body became thinner and thinner day by day, and finally, he became skin and bones and died.

The beauty transformed from the Rakshasa ghost became the concubine of the second king. Not long after, the second king passed away like his brother. Then, she married the little king. Unfortunately, the little king also became ill and became more and more serious.

When the ministers saw this situation, they gathered together to discuss: “Oh! Since this concubine entered the palace, two of the three kings have died, and the remaining little king is dying. We need to quickly ask a fortune teller to tell the fortune. , invite lamas to come and recite sutras, and ask Tibetan doctors to come and see the doctor, saying that nothing can be done to make the little king die again.” The ministers unanimously agreed to invite a lama from Pingchuan to treat the little king.

This lama is a confused lama. His wife is sick and he has a large family of children, so he has no choice but to rely on chanting sutras to cure illnesses and support his family. That day I heard that he was asked to treat the king, and I was really frightened. I thought to myself: “If you don’t go, your life will be in danger. Why not go for a run and try your luck!”

He entered the palace and sat cross-legged next to the little king, pretending to chant sutras, but his eyes were fixed on the concubine because she was so beautiful. A minister asked respectfully: “Lama, what disease does the little king have?” The lama didn’t notice it, so he said a catchphrase: “Bah! What a ghost!”

The lama said casually that the concubine turned into a Rakshasa ghost was very scared. She thought: “Awu! This lama really has some magical powers. He stared at me and said my name in his mouth. Did he see my true face?”

Let’s talk about the confused lama. Because he didn’t know what kind of disease the little king had, he was afraid of being punished, so he slipped out in the middle of the night. He panicked, walked downstairs, and happened to step on the yak that the little Rakshasa had transformed into, causing him to fall into a big somersault. The lama got up and took a look. It turned out to be a yak. He was so angry that he said viciously: “Mom’s body, you come and make trouble with me too!” He picked up the scripture and hit the yak hard on the head.

At this moment, there was another noise on the stairs. The lama quickly got into the sheepfold. He saw the beautiful concubine coming down the stairs step by step, walked to the yak, rolled on the spot, and turned into a terrifying big devil. The yak suddenly turned into a little devil. The little devil said: “No! No! That lama has seen through my truth. Just now he beat me with a sutra and made me dizzy.” The big devil also said: “I came here just for this matter. During the day, he Staring at me, my eyes are about to pop out! I think, let’s do it as soon as possible and kill the little king!”

The lama overheard the conversation between the Rakshasa ghosts and gave up the idea of escape. He quickly ran back to the king, pretending to chant sutras, patting the little king’s body with his hand, and said: “I want to sprinkle the king with sacred water, and no one is allowed in.” The lama took the king into the bathhouse and told him What he had just seen and heard himself. The king was shocked and broke into a cold sweat, as if he had woken up from a nightmare.

The king quickly sent out fifty guards and tied up the concubine upstairs with nine ox-hair ropes. Fifty guards were sent out to tie up the yak downstairs with nine ropes. When the guards brought them in front of the king and ministers, they were no longer a beauty and a yak, but two Rakshasa demons. The fangs in their mouths were as long as fingers.

The king and ministers were surprised and happy. They kept bowing to the confused lama and called him a profound master of Buddhism. Later, the two devils were burned alive, the little king’s disease was completely eradicated, the confused lama became his master, and his wife and children no longer had to worry about food and drink.
