Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, there was a young man named Lesang Lodhu in Xika. His father died a long time ago, and he grew and grew quietly behind his mother’s belt. No one paid attention to this little guy, he was just like a weed on the roadside. (Nazha grass: common weed.)

Suddenly one day, the villagers said that he had grown up. He has grown as tall as a pillar in Xika, as beautiful as a dream flower, and has grown into a man who wants a wife. There are as many young men as there are stones on the river beach, but no one can compare with him. Some have his appearance, but not his figure; some have his figure, but do not have his character.

At this time, Lesang Lodhu’s house became lively. When the sun rises, matchmakers come one after another and their words are sweeter than their songs; when the moon rises, girls come to woo them one after another and their songs are sweeter than honey. However, Le Sang Luozhu’s heart was like a sea covered with ice and snow, unable to stir up any waves. Grandma is such a lifeblood and worries about his marriage all the time. Instead, Lesang Lodro persuaded her mother like this:

Sweet peaches on the tree,
When ripe, it will naturally fall to the ground;
When the fruit is not yet ripe,
What’s the use of throwing stones?

Once, my mother said to Lesang Lodro: “Son, when your father was dying, he made three wishes to the gods and Buddhas. One was to paint the golden body of Sakyamuni in the Jokhang Temple; the second was to Offering pieces of jade to the goddess Bailam (Bailam: Auspicious Heavenly Mother) of the Jokhang Temple; the third pile is to offer fragrant tea to the lamas of the three major temples (the three major temples: Ganden, Drepung and Sera). In less than half a day, Lesang Luozhu arrived at Jiangdui. Suddenly, a girl walked out of the highland barley field, stopped his horse’s head, and presented a bunch of fresh and tender wheat seedlings in front of him. He also sang like this in a nice tune:

Guests on horseback,
Please stop!
Please give me this bunch of wheat seedlings,
Take him to the sacred city of Lhasa.
This is something no insect has ever bitten,
Such hail has never struck before,
This has never been touched by a sickle,
It embodies the heart of the hoeer.
Please give it to a hundred girls on the left,
Give a little tea as a reward;
Please give it to a hundred young people on the right,
Reward a little wine money.

Lesang Luozhu reached out to pick up the wheat seedlings and was stunned for a moment. It looks like a piece of wood standing on the back of a horse. Since he was born in his mother’s belly, he has never seen such a gentle and lovely girl. The more the young man watched, the more he liked it, and the more he watched, the more stupid he became. It turns out that there is an ancient custom in Jiangdui called “Youlang” (Longlang: You, Tibetan means weeding; Lang, means asking for rewards, that is, asking for rewards when weeding). During the season, the workers recommend a girl to offer a handful of wheat seedlings to the passing merchants as a token of blessing; the merchants will give some tea or money and gifts in return to express their condolences. Today, the person asking for “Yurang” from Lesang Lodrup is a Chaba’s daughter named Jiangdui Tsering Jim.

Some of the one hundred girls on the left were telling her weird things; some of the one hundred young men on the right were spitting on her. Tsering Gyem quickly took off the coral beads from his wrists and gave them to them one by one, begging them to shut up like the Bodhisattvas in the temple and never tell their parents.

One hundred and eight rosary beads were divided, except for an old nun with a flat mouth. She excused herself to pee and walked right and left to Tsering Jim’s house, croaking and talking a lot, like an old hen that had just laid eggs.

When my father heard this, he was so angry that there was fire in his stomach; when my mother heard this, she was so angry that smoke came out of her mouth. The bronze mirror is a magic weapon for girls to protect themselves. When they were young, they used it to drive away ghosts, and when they grew up, they used it to make love. It has always been the case that people never leave the mirror, and the mirror never leaves people. My shameless daughter gave it to a man passing by today, what a shame!

In the evening, Tsering Jim came back from work. There was no bronze mirror on his clothes. My mother and father started questioning him like this:

When it comes to eyeballs,
The bronze mirror is the eyeball;
Speaking of lifeblood,
Bronze mirror is the lifeblood.
Poor Tsering Jim,
Who was given the bronze mirror of life?

Ask her to take off her new Tibetan robe and give her a tattered shirt; ask her to take off her silk belt and give her a cow hair rope; ask her to take off her floral apron and give her a piece of sack; ask her to hand over seven-color boots and give her a pair of shoes without soles. . During the day, she was forced to herd donkeys in the mountains and fields; at night, she was made to sleep in the donkey pen.

Tsering Jim scolded the young man riding the white horse in his heart, and looked forward to the young man riding the white horse. For three days, he did not come; for five days, he did not come; on the morning of the seventh day, the young man rode a snow-white horse and drove a big green mule, and came from Lhasa with the first ray of sunshine on the snow-capped mountains.

The girl quickly came down from the mountain, stopped the horse’s head and sang like this:

Stop it quickly, stop it,
You cruel guest!
Quickly take away the protective bronze mirror,
Give this poor girl back!

Lesang Luozhu quickly dismounted, took out four bricks of tea from the horse sack on the left and gave them to the girl who was weeding; he took out ten taels of Tibetan silver from the horse sack on the right and gave them to the young man who was weeding. Then he took off a bundle from his back, which contained new Tibetan robes, new Tibetan boots, and new jewelry. He gave it to Tsering Jim and sang in a beautiful tune:

Please don’t be sad,
The kind-hearted girl from Jiangdui!
My name is Lesang Lodrup,
Langzexika is my hometown.
Clothes, tattered clothes,
Please take it off quickly!
Here are satin Tibetan robes,
Please wear it on your slim body.
Belt, belt of cow hair rope,
Please untie it quickly!

When leaving, there was only one,
I had a pair when I returned;
The auspicious goddess Bailam,
Send a good girl.
Grandma, poor grandma,
Now I have a good helper!
Son, poor son,
From now on, we have a good partner!

The old lady came down from upstairs and took Tsering Jim inside. Let her sit in the house for fear of freezing, and sit outside for fear of being exposed to the sun. I want to hold her in my mouth, just like an old sparrow takes care of its young. The nearby villagers, the rich ones brought gifts, and the poor ones brought songs. The old grandmother, who had not used her singing voice for fifteen years, sang and danced with indescribable joy:

Look, folks, come and see!
Look at my daughter-in-law Tsering Jim!
Look at her beautiful face,
Does it look like a fairy who just came down to earth?
Look at the way she walks,
Does it look like a peacock among flowers?
Look at her charming singing voice,
Does it look like a cuckoo in spring?
She is the jewel in my heart,
She is my own flesh and blood.

The wedding was still being held in a lively manner, when suddenly came the order from A Zheng, the headwoman of Liuwuzong (Liuwuzong: on the south bank of the Lhasa River.): One day today, two days tomorrow, and when the sun rises over the snow-capped mountains the day after tomorrow, all The young men of Liuwuzong, whether married or unmarried, with or without children, walking or standing, all gathered in front of the fort for horse racing and archery competitions. I am a man with an old mother,
Please have mercy on my dying mother!

However, no one answered the “Dada” call, and no one listened to the plea. Lesang Luozhu looked up and saw that the female head A Zheng had walked away with a smile. He seemed to see the sky falling,

The ground sank, and the snow-capped mountains fell towards him. His eyes darkened, and he fell on the racecourse.

When the sun set, Lesang Lodro finally returned to Langzelangka. Did he crawl back? Or walked back? Or was it carried back by the old horse? The young man himself doesn’t know. Tsering Jim happily ran out to greet him. When he saw his husband, he looked like a dead man escaping from a sky burial ground. He was so frightened that he dropped the wine bottle on the stone slab. Please listen to it,
Agole Sang Lodro!
Early in the morning you set out on horseback,
The face is like the morning glow on the snow-capped mountains;

Any punishment for you?

Lesang Luozhu was afraid that his wife would be sad, so he concealed the true feelings of the horse racing meeting and replied: “I am not seriously ill, I am just tired from the horse racing; nothing happened, I was just in a hurry on my way.”

The next morning, a string of urging horse bells rang downstairs, and a messenger with a white robe and a white horse handed him a letter as big as an apron, urging him to get married quickly. Lesang Luozhu didn’t dare to look at it and secretly stuffed it under the card cushion.

Guo called the attendants and caught Lesang Luozhu away like a hawk catching a dove.

The male eagle in the front was the incarnation of Lesang Lodrup; the female eagle in the back was the incarnation of Tsering Gyem; and the little eagle in the middle was the incarnation of their child. The three mountain eagles flew and flew until they reached Liuwubao Village. The cruel A Zheng is sitting on the top of the nine-story building, supervising the slaves to build a new building. The three mountain eagles flew and flew straight to Langze Xika. They turned into human forms again and lived a happy and happy life together with their old grandmother.

The slaves in Liuwubao Village were as happy as if they were celebrating a festival when they saw the hateful female-headed man thrown to death. They dug a hole by the Lhasa River, buried the female-headed woman A Zheng, and nailed a poplar stake to the top so that she would never be able to stand up again.

This story is widely circulated in Lhasa, Shikara, and Shannan. The roots of the poplar tree extend into the Lhasa River, and A Zheng’s long hair is swinging there.

As for where Jiangdui is, the narrators have different opinions. Some people say that when they told stories by Yamdrok Lake, they called the girl “Yamdrok Tsering Jim”.
The next section A is Jiangcun, Qushui County. Tserington led a public food village in Doulungdeqinglu. If Lesang Lodhu’s family was in Langze Xika and he was going from Langze to Lhasa, the area around Oxue Village would be a must-pass.
