Synopsis:
The Fated General 大漠骠骑霍去病 is a 70-episode Chinese historical drama about the heroic feats of a general who has never lost a battle. He is Huo Qu Bing, the son of a servant who ends up becoming a member of the imperial family. During a time when the people are forced to live through insufferable conditions and the constant threats from Xiongnu, Huo Qu Bing takes up arms to become a celebrated warrior of the Han Dynasty.  According to Director Zhang Jian, this is a project that has taken seven years to prepare and a similar approach is being taken when it comes to filming to ensure a quality production that is neither rushed nor forced.
