Kevin Feige talks about Silver Surfer solo movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Avengers: Endgame title
Last month , Adam McKay (director of The Big Short), who co-wrote the two Ant-Man films, revealed he was in talks with Marvel about directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol . 3. And still nothing more than a conversation. But he himself has shown interest in making a solo movie with the Silver Surfer character if given the opportunity .
Most recently at the Golden Globes, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was questioned about the matter. Which the answer seems to be that the project may have a chance to happen.
“He was really behind the camera helping us make the first Ant-Man movie. I’m looking forward to talking to him again,” Feige replied.
Followed by the next question whether Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will still happen or not. Because the project seems to be in turmoil from finding a director and moving the camera indefinitely. Feige replied, “The Guardians are still going to happen, but when, where or how, that will be discussed later.”
Last year, since the release of Avengers: Infinity War, everyone questioned the name of the undisclosed sequel. Until the first trailer mentions that the movie will be called Avengers: Endgame , the interesting question is whether or not the title was planned before. Feige explains that
“The name happened before we started developing the movie (both movies) or while we were developing the movie, and yes, that’s why Dr. Strange said that. because we already know that it is the name of the region.”
